Lisa McGrady PellegrinLisa is a juried artist and Art League member whose works have been displayed at the Torpedo Factory Art League Gallery in Alexandria, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, DC. Her "Bluegrass Fiddler" in oil was honored in the Alexandria Virginia Art League show. Lisa's "Back to Basics" in oil, commissioned by the Braddock District Supervisor in Fairfax County, Virginia is on permanent display at the Kings Park Public Library in Burke, Virginia.

Lisa's "Forces For Peace" series of portraits of world leaders, as well as global abstract impressions and "Mardi Gras" have been displayed at the International Y2K Cooperation Center in Washington, DC. Her "Bluegrass Musicians and Instruments" series, as well as her "Birds and Flowers" series are on display at the Screenfreaks Gallery in West Jefferson, North Carolina.

Lisa and her family are natives of Grayson County, Virginia. Her grandmother, Anna Cox Wells, taught her to paint as child, but Lisa did not begin painting in earnest until the death of her mother, Sue Wells McGrady, in 1994.

Lisa works full-time in the communications business and is also a published poet and award-winning former journalist and television host/producer. She is married to John Pellegrin and they live in Burke, Virginia in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
